If you wish to use your modem and phone

through the same phone wall jack, plug your

phone's cord into the modem's PHONE jack.

NOTE: You cannot use the modem

and phone at the same time if they

share the same telephone line.

4. Plug the power adapter that came with the

modem into a standard, 110-volt wall outlet

and insert its plug into the power jack on

the modem.

NOTE: If you use a different power

adapter or plug the adapter into a

higher-voltage outlet, you may damage

the modem.

5. Turn on your modem. (The power switch is

next to the modem’s phone cord jacks.)

6. Turn on your computer and peripherals.
